Job Title: CARES Director

Job Status: Permanent/Part Time

Holy Cross Regional School is looking for a CARES Director. CARES is Holy Cross’ after school childcare program that is offered Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM. The hours for the CARES Director are approximately 20 Hours per week, arriving approximately 1 hour before CARES to prepare for the afternoon (i.e. 2 pm).

Responsibilities

• Verify scheduled students arrive at CARES (i.e. call role and sign students in via FACTS app) and are signed out upon leaving
• Supervise outdoor/indoor recess, free playtime, and homework in coordination with staff
• Schedule CARES staff according to availability and expected student attendance
• Sign and submit Staff timesheets
• Periodically shop for snacks and supplies
• Prepare snacks/drinks and supplies for the day
• Coordinate important communications with Parents through the FACTS app (e.g. CARES closed due to inservice days, weather)
• Address Parent questions/concerns that may arise
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff
• Must have all required clearances
