Job Description:

The Associate Director of Sales is responsible for executing the MOLLIE ASPEN brand strategy while driving measurable revenue growth across group and transient segments. This role leads sales performance through strategic account development, team leadership, and cross-department collaboration to achieve annual revenue, occupancy, and ADR goals, while delivering refined luxury guest experience.

Pay Rate:

$95-105,000 DOE

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Performance

  • Partner with the Director of Revenue/Sales and General Manager to develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies aligned with revenue and brand objectives.
  • Support achievement of annual targets for group room nights, ADR, total room revenue, and ancillary spend.
  • Analyze pace, production, and market trends to identify gaps and adjust selling strategies to optimize revenue mix and profitability.
  • Collaborate on group and transient pricing and displacement decisions to maximize total revenue.

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to consistently achieve individual and collective monthly and annual sales quotas.
  • Manage sales team scheduling, vacation approvals, and office coverage to ensure uninterrupted sales operations; provide coverage when team members are out.
  • Hold the team accountable to performance expectations, response standards, and brand service levels.
  • Oversee the group sales process from booking through departure, ensuring a seamless, hands‑on, client experience.
  • Ensure group inquiries receive a response within 24 hours Mon-Fri, including during work-related travel.
  • Monitor group cut-off dates, attrition, and contractual deadlines to minimize revenue loss.
  • Ensure the final group invoices are issued within seven (7) days of departure and closed out within fourteen (14) days of departure.
  • Prospect, negotiate, and book non-SMERF group business (10+ rooms) with defined goals for new and repeat accounts.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and production history to support future business development.

Account Management & Market Presence

  • Assist with management and production of key transient accounts in support of targeted revenue goals.
  • Represent the hotel locally with site visits, hosting FAM trips, attending industry or community events, and with attending trade shows or sales trips as assigned.
  • Maintain strong visibility within local and regional markets to support brand awareness and demand generation.

Operational Collaboration

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Sales, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Reservations to ensure operational alignment and service excellence.
