Techno-Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with over 5 years of experience in Blue Yonder – Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP). The consultant will play a key role in supporting, customizing, and enhancing BY-ESP functionality, working closely with business users to translate supply chain requirements into technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a BY-ESP techno-functional consultant to support supply chain initiatives.
• Engage with business users to capture and analyze requirements.
• Create functional and technical specification documents.
• Build and execute comprehensive test plans (Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression).
• Analyze existing system customizations to identify opportunities for optimization and simplification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues focusing on root cause analysis and effective user communication.
• Implement custom developments and manage complete testing and deployment lifecycle.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and end-user testing; ensure business sign-off and successful production deployment.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder – Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP)
• Experience in at least one BY-ESP implementation
• Strong PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting skills
• Experience with custom developments in a BY-ESP ecosystem
• Proficient in creating functional and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP system integration
• Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes
• Effective in working with cross-functional teams including technical analysts, developers, DBAs, middleware teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors

Preferred Skills:

• Optimization and simplification of existing BY-ESP configurations
• Issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

Certifications:

Not mandatory, but Blue Yonder certifications are a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
