Salary: Up to 130k with up to 8% annual merit bonus
Travel: up to 40%
The Role We are seeking a strategic and hands on Continuous Improvement Leader to drive enterprise wide operational excellence. This role is ideal for a forward thinking CI professional who excels at leading high impact Kaizen events and is motivated to expand into broader operational leadership, with a long term path toward Plant Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high impact Kaizen events delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and operational performance
- Develop and coach employees at all levels in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Build and execute 30/60/90 day sustainment plans to ensure improvements are embedded long term
- Partner with plant and organizational leadership to prioritize and execute CI initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Lean tools, including:
- Daily Management Systems
- 6S
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- Total Process Improvement (TPI)
- Structured Problem Solving (A3, 8D, DMAIC)
- Gemba Walks, Flow, and Kanban systems
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement through audits, engagement, and disciplined follow through
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of experience leading Kaizen events and CI initiatives with measurable results
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
- Expert level knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem solving methodologies
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
- Proven ability to sustain improvements through disciplined follow up and accountability
