About the Role
In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and labor needs by addressing the full spectrum of unique challenges faced by our clients across all industries.
What You’ll Do
- Lead workforce-related engagements, often for organizations with large and complex front‑line populations, that help align people strategy with business objectives.
- Advise clients on workforce productivity and utilisation strategies that drive cost efficiency while maintaining service quality and operational reliability.
- Conduct labour diagnostics including current‑state size/shape/cost, supply/demand modelling, and scenario planning to identify current and future workforce risks and opportunities.
- Analyse workforce utilisation data to identify inefficiencies, capacity constraints, and opportunities to redeploy or upskill talent more effectively.
- Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision‑making, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Identify patterns in absenteeism, attrition, and workload distribution to surface root causes and support efficiency opportunities.
- Develop high‑level business cases for transformation opportunities, quantifying productivity and financial impact of proposed changes.
- Support clients in adopting resource‑planning capabilities that enable an analytics‑based approach to aligning resource delivery with demand requirements.
- Manage project workstreams end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery on time and to a high‑quality standard.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with mid‑to‑senior client stakeholders.
- Contribute to the growth of the Global Human Capital practice by supporting proposals, pitches, and thought‑leadership development.

This role offers growth for individuals with proven, hands‑on workforce and operations experience, providing analytics‑based solutions to complex organisations worldwide while contributing to the Global Human Capital segment’s expansion. You will partner with diverse clients and internal teams, gain experience in large‑scale restructurings and other Human Capital initiatives, and progress through tailored professional development programmes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline involving quantitative analysis.
- Five years in large‑workforce industry, consulting, or a similar environment.
- Will be required to travel to clients and FTI offices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and conceptual skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with Internet‑based financial research resources for corporate information, SEC filings, competitive data, etc.
