Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a retail‑focused portfolio of shopping centers in the Rockledge, FL area. This is a hands‑on, high‑autonomy role within a stable, well‑established organization, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, owner‑operated environment.
This is an immediate direct‑hire opportunity for a professional who can step in, take ownership, and manage a retail portfolio with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of multiple retail shopping centers
- Oversee lease administration, renewals, and negotiations
- Maintain strong tenant relationships and handle escalations professionally
- Coordinate vendors, maintenance, and property inspections
- Ensure lease compliance and operational efficiency across the portfolio
- Partner directly with ownership for decision‑making and execution
This role is primarily office‑based (~95%) with occasional site visits.
Portfolio Overview
- ~500K–750K sq ft retail portfolio
- ~10 shopping centers (multi‑tenant and select single‑tenant assets)
- Retail‑focused (no multifamily properties)
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–7+ years of retail commercial property management experience (shopping centers required)
- Strong experience in lease administration and negotiations
- Ability to manage multiple properties independently
- Strong tenant‑facing communication and relationship management skills
- Experience working with budgets, CAM, and vendor coordination
Preferred:
- Retail REIT or institutional experience
- Exposure to accounting tools or CAM reconciliations
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Spanish bilingual (a plus)

Compensation & Schedule
- Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
- Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (on‑site)
- PTO: 2 weeks vacation + sick time
