Hyatt Regency Newport Beach extends an invitation for a Sales Manager who will lead the sale of guest rooms, meeting space, and services. The successful candidate will manage accounts, generate business opportunities, present proposals, coordinate customer service, and collaborate with the sales, catering and support teams.

Key duties include:

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups
  • Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
  • Prepare and present effective proposals, maintain documentation and reports
  • Utilize Hyatt systems to coordinate customer requirements
  • Participate in and potentially lead event meetings and staff meetings
  • Work closely with sales and catering teams, administrators, and support staff

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training

Preference for sale, negotiation, business writing and presentation skill training.
