Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is generally the point person and overall in charge of all accounts — including both potential and existing — in a specific assigned territory, covering both Key Accounts and Secondary Accounts.

The role also includes managing and overseeing the distributor in the territory. The TSM acts as the business representative with whom the client has the most one-on-one interaction. The position involves overseeing the daily, routine tasks related to addressing customer needs and concerns and maintaining account activities within the assigned territory.

The TSM is also responsible for opening and developing new and existing accounts to promote growth in sales and expand distribution reach. Accountability includes the overall growth or decline of the assigned territory.
