Human Resources Specialist The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for implementing regional community support for the employee HRIS platform, onboarding, payroll and other related duties in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures. This role also acts as a resource for employees and assists with implementation and communication of Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures to all levels of the team.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in related field
At least one (1) year experience in Human Resources
Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to employment and payroll processing
Prior experience with computerized human resource information and payroll systems is preferred
Responsibilities and Expectations
Responsible for final steps of onboarding PSL team members information, exporting data and new hire paperwork from the onboarding platform
Maintains all employee data within the HRIS platform including payroll maintenance, terminations, change of status, job change, and address change
Entering payroll processing information as pending pay entry items
Responsible for community region of responsibility timekeeping and payroll as assigned. Review and complete monthly audit reports to correct employee data
Maintains document manager employee files, databases, and information in compliance with regulation and policy
Assists with the development, implementation and enhancements of the HRIS platform including scheduling, payroll, and time and attendance
Track and maintain the performance reviews in HRIS as well as the document manager
Work closely with Compensation/Talent Specialist during the wage increase process and throughout the year to ensure all wage increases are processed timely and accurately
