Personal Banker – Retail Banking, Decatur, Alabama (Decatur – Beltline location) – R217574.
Job Description
Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience and identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
Drives proactive sales conversations via outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
Creates customer loyalty and grows share of wallet through differentiated customer experience, lobby engagement, and technology‑enabled solutions.
Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and participating in branch daily operations.
PNC employees are expected to be customer‑focused, knowledgeable, risk‑aware, and to adhere to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years related experience or product knowledge (military service acceptable).
Knowledge of banking products, digital tools, effective communication, multi‑priority management, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, and retail lending.
Strong accountability, client loyalty, customer experience focus, proactive sales mindset, and ability to leverage technology.
