Job Summary

The Solutions Consultant role is a fully remote position focused on guiding customers through their security transformation journey. The consultant provides technical leadership, designs secure solutions, and ensures value realization across Palo Alto Networks’ portfolio. Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross‑platform solutions. Understand key customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and develop high‑level designs across the entire PANW portfolio to create business value. Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform. Build customer relationships to help customers achieve increased productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and greater flexibility to innovate. Conduct discovery to understand and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers. Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions. Demonstrate strong communication skills, influence through effective presentations and customer‑specific demos, and conduct technical engagements and workshops that are clear and impactful. Lead successful technical validation efforts to ensure a technical win in assigned opportunities. Demonstrate cross‑functional leadership by driving collaboration and orchestrating supporting resources to ensure a cohesive, one‑team approach. Promote end‑to‑end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner. Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW’s leadership in the cybersecurity space. Continuously invest in technical and professional skills and participate within the Solutions Consultant community and at industry events. Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap. Maintain required PANW certifications. Qualifications

6+ years of experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering. Active Top Secret or higher security clearance. Proven track record in selling to and navigating the USAF enterprise environment. Knowledge of USAF enterprise infrastructure and architectures. Strong customer focus and teamwork skills. Located near the Boston area or willing to travel routinely to customer locations. Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures. Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives. Experience in influencing key stakeholders and obtaining buy‑in in pre‑sales or internal roles. Experience designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC Transformation Technologies. Partnering with Customer Support functions for successful implementation and adoption. Experience in complex, multi‑product sales with long sales processes and multiple buying centers. Proficient in English. Compensation and Benefits

Base salary (or base + commission target) ranges from $198,000 to $273,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location.
