
Sr Analyst- Property Tax

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for tax true‑ups
Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of property tax accounts
Assist in the preparation and review of annual property tax budgets
Review tax payments and prepare wire transfers and/or check requests
Ensure proper coding of payments to the appropriate general ledger accounts
Research tax issues, accounts, liens, and assist with onboarding new acquisitions
Collaborate with external property tax consultants to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities and internal management, providing thorough research and resolution
Support special projects and process improvements as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus in property tax, though not required
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and journal entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Self‑motivated; self‑starter
Preferred experience in accounting software SAP
Required Experience Is Commensurate With The Selected Job Level
The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job‑related experience
The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job‑related experience
The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job‑related experience
Working Conditions
Usually, normal office working conditions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Occasional overnight travel may be required
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
