Assistant Brand Manager

Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned and licensed brands, has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager for our office located at 90 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ.

Creates, sends, and tracks all lab dip, strike-off and greige requests for sample prep.
Creates, sends, and tracks all Prototype, Market, wear-test, PP, TOP and Vendor samples charts in Excel. Responsible for updating and maintaining charts.
Distributes wear-test samples to team members.
Physically manages, organizes, distributes all incoming samples. Keeps all common team spaces free of unopened boxes of samples.
Keeps office space & in-house & archive inventory organized, up to date and accessible. Files away or donates older season product to make room for new seasons.
Assigns color codes for all new product.
Pulls, steams, preps, and assists in market week and Photoshoot sample racks.
Helps pull, prep, and organize all customer meeting space and samples. If customer meeting is off-location, preps, sends and receives trunks.
Mails any customer / campaign / on-air host samples.
Trains to be proficient in Blue Cherry (PLM style setup and order label code processing).
Assists Brand Managers in fabric needs (pulling folders from fabric library, punching for weight, finding similar fabrics).
Works closely with Design, Facilities, Production and Sales teams.
Attends all team meetings to be aware of co-brand activities and all products.
Assist with special projects as needed, which may mean pulling in-office samples or gathering brand info.
