Location: Hybrid Magnolia, TX 77355 Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Hybrid Schedule
Remote: Mondays & Fridays (strong, reliable home Wi?Fi required; equipment provided)
On?Site: TuesdaysThursdays at the Magnolia office
Employment Type: Contract (open ended) Pay Rate: $19.57/hr + potential overtime during peak periods/month-end Industry: Utility Services / Customer Service
What You'll Do
Handle high-volume inbound and outbound customer calls
Resolve billing questions, account issues, and general utility inquiries
Accurately document customer interactions and update account records
Address escalated concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
Use internal systems to resolve and appropriately escalate service issues
Meet established quality, productivity, and performance standards
What We're Looking For
Proficient in English (verbal and written)
23 years of customer service experience (call center and/or utilities experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation for required in-office days
Willingness to work occasional overtime, especially during month-end
Attendance & Commitment Expectations (Very Important)
Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical to this role and project
Strong commitment to the assignment and team is required
Unscheduled absences, poor attendance, or lack of communication will not be tolerated
Clear, timely communication with leadership is expected at all times
