PART-TIME - Social Media - Community Engagement
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Social Media Community Engagement Specialist to work for one of our well-recognized fashion clients.
Prior professional experience in social engagement on Instagram and TikTok is desired, with strong writing skills and a background in retail brand writing.
Contract: 2 - 3 months – likely to be extended
Schedule: Part-time 20 - 30 hours per week - 1 day in the office (flexible with occasional evenings and weekends)
Location: Candidate either needs to be located in Columbus, OH or Manhattan, NY.
Pay Rate: $35 - 45 per hour on W2

PART-TIME SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY COORDINATOR | 20-30 hrs/week Flexible schedule: Need to be able to go into the office 1-day per week for at least 1/2 day, working remote remainder of the week. Evenings or weekends would be needed when there is a social event or a launch going on.
Candidate either needs to be located in Manhattan, NY or Columbus, OH.
This role will support day-to-day community engagement and performance tracking across social platforms, working closely with our Marketing Specialist to enable consistent, thoughtful brand presence. Due to the nature of social media, evening and weekend coverage will be required.
Community Engagement
Lead daily community engagement across all social platforms, delivering proactive and reactive interactions that strengthen brand affinity and grow fan communities.
Champion brand tone‑of‑voice and knowledge, ensuring every interaction reflects client’s values.
Owned Comment Sections (Reactive & Relationship Building)
Manage and respond within client’s owned comment sections across priority platforms.
Engage with superfans and loyal consumers to deepen relationships.
Collect emerging sentiment, recurring questions, and product feedback.
Earned Comment Section (UGC + Cultural Participation)
Identify high‑impact client UGC and viral social conversations for timely participation.
Publish culturally additive brand comments in earned spaces.
Ensure tone, timing, and cultural fluency align with brand strategy.
KPI Tracking & Insights
Track and analyze performance metrics tied to community engagement (e.g., impressions, likes, replies, EMV) across owned and earned spaces for optimization.
Work with our marketing Specialist to support ad‑hoc needs.
