Encore of Parkside is currently hiring for a Director of Sales and Marketing. The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving occupancy through a relationship-centered sales approach that prioritizes connection, discovery, and personalized guidance. This role leads the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry through move-in, while creating an experience that reflects Encore’s commitment to hospitality and excellence. This position includes monthly commission.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all sales activities, including inquiry follow-up, tours, and closing

Build meaningful relationships with prospects, families, and professional referral partners

Conduct thoughtful, personalized tours that focus on lifestyle, emotional connection, and individual needs, not just features and pricing

Listen actively to understand each prospect’s story, motivations, and concerns, and tailor the experience accordingly

Guide prospects through decision-making with confidence, clarity, and care

Maintain consistent and timely follow-up to nurture relationships and build trust over time

Collaborate with community teams to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience from first impression through move-in

Track and manage all activity in CRM systems to ensure accountability and performance visibility

Analyze conversion metrics and adjust strategies to continuously improve results

Participate in outreach efforts, events, and networking to build awareness and generate qualified leads

What Success Looks Like

Prospects feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout their journey

Tours result in strong emotional engagement and clear next steps

Relationships are nurtured consistently, leading to increased conversion rates

The community is known not just for its amenities, but for how it makes people feel

Sales goals are achieved monthly

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a relationship-driven industry

Proven ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with a wide range of individuals

Strong communication and active listening skills

Ability to guide conversations with empathy while maintaining focus on outcomes

Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven

Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tracking

A natural ability to connect with others and create a positive, memorable experience
