Diversified Systems is searching for a senior expert‑level consultant serving as a hands‑on technical implementation expert in Azure PaaS technologies and API integration. This role requires proven expertise implementing enterprise‑scale Azure PaaS solutions with strong emphasis on API integration and modern cloud‑native architectures across large and complex statewide systems.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts to diverse stakeholders from developers to executives.
Drives continuous improvement in solution quality through enhanced standards, code reviews, and best practice adoption.
Designs and implements end‑to‑end Azure PaaS solutions across all architectural tiers, including data, API and integration, application, security and identity, and deployment and operations layers.
Designs and implements data layer solutions including database design, data integration pipelines, ETL and ELT processes, and data warehouse implementations.
Designs and implements API and integration layer solutions including RESTful services, message queuing, event‑driven architectures, and third‑party system integrations.
Designs and implements application layer solutions including web applications, serverless functions, and batch processing jobs.
Designs and implements security and identity solutions including authentication and authorization flows, API security, and data encryption strategies.
Designs and implements deployment and operations solutions including Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Delivers enterprise‑scale applications requiring complex integrations with statewide systems and enterprise architecture.
Demonstrates proven hands‑on expertise implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing multi‑tier applications from initial architecture through production deployment.
Interacts with executive‑level business users and technical experts on cloud strategy and roadmap planning.
Establishes and maintains API governance, design standards, and OpenAPI and Swagger specifications.
Requirements
4‑year college degree or equivalent technical study. Preferred.
10 years development experience with C#, TypeScript, .NET 8 or higher, Entity Framework Core, and RESTful API design. Required.
10 years Azure PaaS experience with App Services, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Required.
10 years API integration experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML authentication. Required.
10 years DevOps experience with Azure DevOps including Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts, infrastructure as code using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates, and CI/CD YAML pipelines. Required.
Preferred certifications including Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Highly desired.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI integration. Highly desired.
Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Highly desired.
Experience with Blazor, React, or Angular. Highly desired.
Experience with Azure AI Services, Copilot, and model integrations. Highly desired.
