Overview
We are seeking a high-level Azure PaaS Consultant for a long-term engagement. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on designing and implementing enterprise-scale, cloud-native solutions for complex systems.

Location: Columbus, OH (Downtown)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Schedule
Interview Process: Microsoft Teams
Experience Level: 10+ Years
The Core Mission As a Technical Specialist 4, you will serve as the niche SME for Azure PaaS. You will bridge the gap between high-level architecture and hands-on implementation, building secure, event-driven API layers and modernizing data pipelines for statewide systems.
Key Technical Requirements (10+ Years)
Azure Integration: API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Identity (OAuth 2.0/OIDC).
Modern Development: .NET 8, C#, TypeScript, and RESTful API design.
Azure PaaS: App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Key Vault.
DevOps & IaC: CI/CD via YAML Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM).
Preferred Skills
Data Platform: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Power BI.
AI/ML: Integration of Azure AI Services and Copilot models.
Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Critical Compliance
Onsite Presence: Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Columbus, OH.
Background: Must pass a mandatory fingerprint background check.
Device Policy: Government equipment cannot be used or taken outside of the United States.
