Senior Interior Designer

Miami Architectural Studio, an innovative residential design firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through installation. This person will be equally comfortable leading a client presentation, managing a vendor relationship, and producing a detailed specification set — and is excited to build lasting relationships with our team and longstanding clients.

What You'll Do:

Lead interior design from concept through completion on multiple residential projects

Develop design concepts, material palettes, and furnishings selections

Own client relationships — presentations, selections, walkthroughs, and ongoing communication

Produce and coordinate construction documents, specs, and permit‑ready drawing sets

Manage FF&E procurement from proposal through delivery and installation

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule and on budget

Oversee installation and project close‑out

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of interior design experience with a strong residential portfolio

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Studio Designer

Confident client‑facing presence and strong communication skills\ Knowledge of South Florida vendors and lead times

Detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and comfortable in a fast‑paced studio environment

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design; NCIDQ certification a plus
