Territory Account Executive – Financial Services (Lone Star Region | SDIRA & Alternative Investments)
- Candidates MUST have the required industry related experience for consideration: financial services, banking, alternative investments, IRA/retirement services, or related investment-based industries.
- Must live inDallas, Fort Worth, Houston or Austin, and within a comfortable distance to a major airport for travel.
- This is a true hunter-style sales role requiring consistent new business development, proactive prospecting, and self-generated pipeline creation within an assigned territory.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000. Year 1 Expected Earnings: $120,000 – $130,000. On-Target Earnings in year 2 (OTE): $200,000+ (uncapped).Commission Plan: Provided during offer process.
Location & Travel:
- Must be based in a major Texas metro area, including Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin.
- Territory includes TX, OK, LA, KS. Travel (approximately 25%) will be primarily regional driving with some air travel as needed. Candidates should be located near a major airport to support territory coverage.
Overview:
- Our client is building out its South Central sales presence and is hiring an Account Executive to drive territory growth.
- This is a fully remote role with a strong emphasis on in-market activity, relationship development, and consistent face-to-face client engagement across the region.
- The role supports a diverse client base including investors, advisors, and investment-focused partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business through territory-based outreach, networking, and in-person meetings.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide consultative guidance on retirement and investment solutions.
- Execute a regional sales strategy aligned with revenue goals.
- Track activity, pipeline, and performance within CRM systems.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Represent the organization at regional events and partner meetings.
- Establish long-term referral and partner relationships to drive growth.
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of sales experience within financial services, banking, alternative investments, IRA/retirement services, or related investment-based industries.
- Direct experience in banking, wealth management, retirement accounts (e.g., IRAs/401(k) services), or investment/alternative asset sales strongly preferred; candidates outside these verticals will not be considered competitive.
- Strong track record of lead generation and closing business. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote, performance-driven role.
