About the Position
This position is located at 375th Medical Group, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience which includes
using health information automated systems, verifying insurance benefits for patients, and providing billing or claims information to beneficiaries .
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone—no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
