Location: 82 Albany Street, Cazenovia NY 13035 Starting Pay for this role - $21.50/hour to $26.87.00/hour, actual starting pay will depend on experience Position is overtime eligible and incentive eligible Who Are We?

What You’ll Do
As a
Member Service Representative , you’ll deliver exceptional service while building meaningful relationships with our members. You’ll play a key role in supporting AmeriCU’s strategic goals by combining service excellence, consultative sales, and community engagement. Member Experience & Service
Greet and assist members in a professional, welcoming manner that reflects AmeriCU’s
MVP‑1 Team culture . Serve as a trusted resource by conducting teller transactions and guiding members through
Interactive Teller Machine (ITM)
technology. Accurately perform account servicing, file maintenance, and documentation. Record interactions with current and prospective members in the
CRM system
to support relationship tracking and follow-up. Sales, Lending & Relationship Growth
Take a
consultative sales approach
to identify and meet members’ financial needs. Interpret credit bureau reports and recommend appropriate products and services, including: Secured and unsecured loans Credit cards Real estate loans Support Financial Center lending goals by ensuring
accurate, error-free loan documentation . Retain, expand, and acquire member relationships through referrals, cross-selling, courtesy calls, and in‑person conversations. Consistently meet or exceed assigned
sales and service goals . Training, Collaboration & Business Development
Serve as the
lead trainer
within the assigned Financial Center for both desk and teller-line new hires. Provide training or support at other regional Financial Centers as needed. Build strong partnerships with line-of-business teams to drive member acquisition and deepen existing relationships. Demonstrate understanding of AmeriCU’s
Strategic Plan
and how your role contributes to overall success. Compliance & Community Engagement
Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and operational standards. Maintain knowledge of and comply with regulatory requirements, including
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
and
SAFE Act
guidelines. Actively participate in
community engagement and outreach activities
that support AmeriCU’s mission and visibility. Benefits
