
Residential Construction Laborer

Mitchell Construction Group LLC is looking for a dependable Construction Laborer / Skilled Laborer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling projects and take pride in craftsmanship, organization, and professionalism on every job site. You’ll work alongside experienced site superintendents and lead carpenters across multiple job sites, supporting all phases of construction—from prep to final punch list.
Responsibilities
Job site setup and daily cleanup
Dust protection and site prep for active remodels
Assist with light framing, trim carpentry, and demo work
Perform exterior tasks (e.g., siding patching, general repairs)
Operate power tools safely and efficiently
Complete punch list items toward project completion
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Required Qualifications
Ability to safely operate common power tools including circular saws, drills/impact drivers, and nail guns
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials
Strong commitment to keeping a clean jobsite and following safety protocols and PPE requirements
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within the MetroWest Boston area
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry
Experience using a variety of power tools
Experience measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to project specifications
Ability to read basic plans and drawings
