Employment Specialist

The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as part of the Supportive Employment Program at Highlands Community Services (HCS) to ensure consumer employment goals are fully integrated into the individual’s overall recovery plan.
Position Specifics Location: Abingdon, VA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday Compensation: $20.00 - Commensurate with education/experience Required: Bachelor’s degree with 15 credit hours of human services related courses. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field. Registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP or QMHP – Trainee) with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
