Position Overview
International Parts is seeking a Business Development Manager – West Region to join the Channel Enablement Team (CET).

In this role, the Business Development Manager will partner with dealership leadership and personnel to drive sustainable revenue growth, improve margin performance, and enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include evaluating and optimizing parts sales strategies, streamlining existing processes, and delivering structured coaching and training programs for both inside and outside sales teams.

The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to support dealership performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels within the dealership environment.

This is a remote position based in the United States and requires up to 75% travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

Review and advise dealers on the best approach for improving their lead generation pipeline, outbound calling and relationship building

Improve customer service, outside sales & time management skills

Develop pricing strategies based on volume, including customer pricing segmentation

Develop and implement a consistent marketing and promotional plan, including e-commerce

Review account planning for existing customers and identify gaps in current customer product sales

Discuss inventory management best practices and ensure they are implemented

Encourage collaboration between parts and service departments

Improve and document critical business processes/procedures

Increase understanding and lending support for International’s internal parts program

Support the dealer in additional areas as needed

Create / revise necessary training materials/presentations

Partner with International Parts Sales, National Account, and Product teams

Lead International’s RSM (Retail Sales Management) initiatives and track KPI’s at selected dealers

Minimum Requirements
Option 1:

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience

At least 1 years of lead experience

Option 2:

Master's degree and at least 3 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience

At least 1 years of lead experience

Option 3:

At least 8 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience

At least 1 years of lead experience

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

Extensive fixed operations leadership experience, including roles as Parts Manager, Parts Sales Manager, and General Manager

Deep industry expertise across heavy truck, machinery, automotive, and powersports sectors

Proven success operating within dealership environments, with a strong understanding of workflows and performance drivers

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Salesforce

Hands‑on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), including CDK, Karmak, and Procede

Highly effective presenter with strong public speaking and training facilitation skills

Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and drive results

Adaptable and flexible in managing schedules, priorities, and content delivery in dynamic environments

Skilled at quickly engaging audiences and maintaining attention in both small and large group settings

Strong communicator capable of effectively interacting with all levels of dealership personnel, from frontline staff to executive leadership

Willing and able to travel extensively as required

Resourceful, innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement
