Marketing Coordinator

The Axel Group is seeking a driven Marketing Coordinator to join a well-established general construction firm in Ocean County, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of marketing efforts and support the company’s continued growth. In this position, you’ll build and expand brand presence, manage social media and website content, support business development, and represent the company at industry events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the company’s social media presence across platforms including LinkedIn and Instagram.
Update and manage website content to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding initiatives.
Conduct industry research and forecasting to support strategic business planning.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts including subcontractors, competitors, clients, and potential leads.
Lead marketing and client acquisition efforts for the company’s core construction services.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular communication, including monthly check-ins and project milestone touchpoints.
Attend and represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and conferences.
Support proposal development and assist with RFP responses as the role evolves.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and client satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and social media strategy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company professionally.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with social media management tools.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a growth-oriented environment.
Experience in construction, real estate, or a related industry is a plus.
Comfortable attending networking events and engaging with clients and industry professionals.
