Description:
SPS Commerce is a leading provider of cloud‑based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners. We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued. Join SPS Commerce and be part of a dynamic team that's transforming the global retail supply chain!

Position Summary:
Marketing at SPS Commerce is evolving — and this is your chance to be part of something big. As our business scales and our global reach expands, we’re building a marketing organization that does more than create awareness — we drive demand, deepen relationships, and deliver measurable impact across every stage of the customer journey.

We’ve reimagined how we work, combining functional expertise with deep customer insight. Our team is structured around key areas like Brand, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing, and we collaborate through cross‑functional pods focused on distinct customer segments — from Retailers and Suppliers to Revenue Recovery & Analytics and Core.

We’re seeking a strategic and hands‑on Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market execution across a key area of our portfolio. This individual contributor will partner closely with product management, sales, and demand generation teams to craft compelling narratives, drive adoption, and accelerate customer growth and retention.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive pipeline, improve win rates, and support revenue growth

Lead the development and synthesis of buyer and user insights, including personas, buying behaviors, and decision criteria, and translate them into actionable marketing and sales strategies

Analyze the competitive landscape and inform differentiated positioning in the market

Drive clear, compelling messaging across channels in partnership with product, brand, and demand generation teams

Lead go‑to‑market execution, including product launches, and contribute to pricing, packaging, and promotion strategies

Partner cross‑functionally with product management, demand generation, sales, and marketing teams to align on strategy and execution

Equip sales and partner teams with training, tools, competitive insights, and customer‑facing collateral to improve effectiveness

Contribute to marketing planning and investment decisions to support customer acquisition and retention efforts

Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize programs and inform strategy

Leverage data and emerging technologies, including AI, to enable scalable and personalized marketing approaches

Where You’ll Work:
This role is remote or hybrid, based on the candidate’s location. For hybrid office locations (Minneapolis, MN), we Succeed Together through in‑person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility. The role will require occasional travel for onboarding, training, team or company meetings, etc., – estimated around 5%.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment

Experience in market‑facing roles, including delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitive analysis, and performing market research

Proven ability to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies

Strong expertise in messaging, positioning, and sales enablement

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence presenting to senior audiences

Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to track and measure ROI

Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Slack, project management platforms) and CRM systems such as Salesforce

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
