Job Summary
This position is the lead designer for the overall creation and maintenance of a library of field marketing and sales collateral, tools and resources, working with both internal and external subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including but not limited to direct mail, flyers, business cards, print ads, newsletters, e-newsletters, email communication, invitations, landing pages, digitals ads, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, sales kits, marketing guides, event materials, website, web ads, and signage while maintaining brand standard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create consistent and scalable creative content that can be leveraged by loan originators and across all business groups to drive action and sales.
Develop concepts and design collateral materials, including but not limited to direct mail, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, business cards, print ads, newsletters, e-newsletters, email communication, invitations, digitals ads, presentations, handouts, event materials, and signage while maintaining brand standard.
Support and back up the marketing staff.
Utilize ticketing system for daily projects and workflow, documenting work and collaborating with team members across the enterprise, and using it as a tool to meet required deadlines.
Complete any additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.
Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and HTML.
Remain current on design trends and technology.
Assist Novus Home Mortgage employees and departments as needed.
Skills
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint design & template creation, SharePoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), WordPress and HTML.
Graphic Design Skills: Demonstrated success in quickly and effectively reshaping concepts across print and digital collateral (direct mail, posters, flyers, signage, print ads, e-blasts, web banners, social media content) and retouching photography.
Branding Skills: Ability to generate original art that meets brand standards and experience in sourcing and leveraging on‑brand stock photography. Thorough understanding of graphic and web production processes (design, development, prepress).
Customer Service Skills: Provide excellent customer service to users; friendly, helpful, patient, consistent; respects project timelines.
Organizational Skills: Strong, detail‑oriented work ethic, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, multi‑tasking in a fast‑moving environment; prioritizes tasks daily to meet department goals; initiative to lead small projects independently.
Communication Skills: Excellent grammar and diction. Ability to read and understand instructions and write comprehensive instruction sets; effective communication in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or associate degree in graphic design or related field from an accredited institution and internship or 2 years of graphic design experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), WordPress and HTML.
Portfolio demonstrating cross‑channel work and brand adherence.
This position will be located onsite in our Brookfield, WI Corporate office.
The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
