Tax Counsel - Private Equity & Credit Fund
This role will be responsible for global tax structuring and investment tax support alongside the Global Head of Tax.
Responsibilities of the Tax Counsel include:
- Working with teams across legal, compliance and finance in supporting the tax structuring of acquisitions and investments within the US and globally for private equity and credit assets
- Advising on tax efficiencies and structures for capital vehicles and investment products, in addition to wider strategic planning in tax for the asset portfolio
- Maintaining a close working relationship with deal teams both within the US and internationally, advising teams directly on policy, structuring and due diligence initiatives
This is a senior role with key engagement at the executive level.
Individuals should be legally trained tax professionals (JD preferred) and come from a tax planning/structuring background within a reputable law firm, public accounting firm or comparable role within the investment/private equity industry.
