Job Description Job Description Construction Estimator (Starting $25-$35 / hour base commission available) Truplans Inc, a residential planning company based in Orange County CA, is seeking an experienced construction estimator for various home remodeling projects large and small around the state of California. Check out our company at https://www.truplans.net This position will include responsibilities such as; 1. Estimating in-house projects for our general contracting partners (multiple companies) 2. You will be cross trained to assist with both on-site and online home evaluations for estimating purposes. 3. You will be crossed trained to measure residential homes using the latest technology tools (i.e. lasers and scanners as well as tape) to assist in plan development. 4. We have our own estimating system (custom developed for niche services), but are seeking a traditional estimating platform to be developed by our new candidate and pricing database development. 5. Opportunities are available to assist in Construction Project Management as well. Experienced estimators compensation begins at $25/hour base (full time) and may vary up to $35/hour depending on experience and/or may advance with lucrative commissions on projects acquired. This is starting compensation. Apply if you want to grow with our multi-state expansion (in progress). Beginning Estimators with some experience may apply and will be trained if hired. Starting rate for minimum experience starts at $20/hour with future advancement starting the first year based on performance. We prefer onsite (office) employment (we provide the office). We operate several niche brands and have well established corporate partnerships in the industry. Offices in Orange County and San Francisco Bay, California.
