Role: Asset Management Specialist (Biomedical Equipment) - Fully remote must be US based
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Asset Management Specialist
to oversee the full lifecycle of biomedical equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all medical devices are accurately tracked, properly maintained, and fully compliant with healthcare regulations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the
Accruent platform (TMS/Connectiv)
to manage work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and inventory data.
Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management Track biomedical assets from procurement through decommissioning. Ensure accurate data entry, asset status updates, and lifecycle documentation.
Software Administration
Serve as the primary user of the
Accruent platform (TMS/Connectiv) . Manage preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and corrective work orders.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain compliance with
Joint Commission ,
FDA , and local regulatory standards. Ensure accurate and up-to-date digital records for all equipment.
Inventory Control
Conduct physical audits and tagging of biomedical and imaging equipment. Reconcile physical inventory with digital asset databases.
Reporting & Analysis
Utilize Accruent reporting tools to analyze: Equipment uptime Maintenance costs Replacement cycles
Provide actionable insights to leadership to support operational decisions.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) or biomedical asset coordination. Software Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with
Accruent (TMS, Connectiv, or Maintenance Connection)
is required. Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to interpret equipment data and drive operational improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician)
certification. Experience with medical device integration and networking.
