Trade Analyst

The Trade Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the effectiveness, scalability, and maturity of the company's global trade operations. This role is responsible for transforming trade data into insight, designing and supporting automation and system-driven solutions, and enabling compliant, efficient execution across Imports, Exports, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. This individual is a strong analytical thinker and visionary problem solver who can ingest large, complex data sets, create meaningful metrics, track progress against commitments, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams. The role partners closely with cross functional teams and external service providers to ensure trade operations are data-driven, automated where possible, and in compliance with government regulations. Trade Analytics & Insights

Analyze large volumes of data across imports, exports, and FTZ activity to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities. Design and maintain trade performance metrics and dashboards, including compliance KPIs, operational efficiency metrics, exception trends, and savings realization. Track execution against action items, commitments, and remediation plans; provide transparent reporting and follow-up to ensure accountability. Develop executive-level summaries that translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations. Automation, Systems & Digital Enablement

Support the design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions across trade operations processes. Partner with IT and system owners to translate trade requirements into system logic, validations, and reporting capabilities (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, FTZ software, broker interfaces). Participate in system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, including requirements definition, UAT testing, and post-deployment validation. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and strengthen controls through automation and system integration. Import, Export & FTZ Operational Support

Support compliant execution of import, export, and FTZ operations through data validation, exception management, and transaction monitoring. Perform analytical reviews of FTZ admissions, inventory movements, manufacturing consumption, and removals to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Support reconciliations between a variety systems and broker data; identify root causes and corrective actions. Governance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

Support development and maintenance of SOPs, process flows, control documentation, and metrics frameworks. Contribute to audit readiness by supporting internal testing, documentation gathering, and data analysis for audits and CBP reviews. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying systemic issues and proposing scalable, data-backed solutions. Act as a thought partner to Trade leadership by bringing forward-looking ideas on automation, analytics, and operational design. Core Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's degree required 48 years of experience in global trade, trade compliance, or operations analytics Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and developing metrics or dashboards Hands-on experience supporting import/export operations and/or FTZ programs Experience with ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA preferred) Advanced excel skills Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, AI tools desired Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: No The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
