The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, financial management, and day-to-day operations, with a strong emphasis on leadership, communication, and stakeholder management. This role requires a Certified Public Accountant with experience in auditing governmental entities, a Master's degree in a relevant field, and a comprehensive understanding of governmental accounting, public finance, and the bond issuance process. The Executive Director will oversee the organization's financial sustainability, manage financing programs, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while advocating for affordable financing initiatives.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include providing regular updates to the Industrial Commission and Advisory Committee, leading a team of professionals, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in executive leadership, public sector management, finance, and governmental financial statement analysis. They will also be involved in program administration, design, and development, continuously assessing the impact of the company's programs, and coordinating with other entities to maximize resources. The role demands a strategic thinker who can effectively manage financial transactions, and relationships with rating agencies, underwriters, and legal counsel, and is adept at promoting the company's mission through public speaking and media engagements.
