Job Details
Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director of Finance. This role is crucial to our company as it is responsible for overseeing all corporate finance aspects of our auto group. We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can develop and implement financial strategies to drive our business forward. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a strong background in public accounting, dealership group, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, financial forecasting, and negotiations.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies in alignment with the company's goals.
- Ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
- Supervising and managing the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Collaborating with the executive team to make decisions on investment and financial strategies.
- Monitoring and managing financial risk.
- Preparing detailed reports on financial performance on a regular basis.
- Coordinating with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve financial health and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Auto group / dealership group accounting experience
- 3+ years financial management experience
- CDK Dealer Management System experience
- Reporting optimization
- Entity level and brand level analysis
- Enterprise level financial storytelling expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Public Accounting Experience
- Masters Degree / MBA
- CPA
