We are seeking a seasoned

Construction Superintendent

to lead large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and planning through execution and completion—while ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. You’ll play a critical role in driving field operations, coordinating multi-discipline teams (civil, structural, electrical), and ensuring safe, efficient project delivery on high-value builds ($50M+).

Contract Duration Long-term project assignment near Saline, MI with ongoing opportunities across client sites (70%+ travel required).

Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent 8+ years of supervisory experience in commercial or industrial construction Proven experience managing projects with budgets of $50M+ Strong background in field operations across civil, structural, and/or electrical disciplines Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport Willingness and ability to travel extensively (70%+) Desired Skills Advanced knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional field teams Strong safety track record with a commitment to compliance and best practices Experience working with union labor and multiple trade groups Ability to identify and mitigate project risks proactively

Daily Responsibilities Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities from planning through completion Develop execution strategies including manpower, materials, equipment, and scheduling Coordinate across trades (electricians, carpenters, boilermakers) and contractors Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and adjust plans as needed Manage site resources, inspections, and material flow to maintain schedule adherence Communicate with stakeholders including clients, executives, and vendors Identify risks, resolve field issues, and implement corrective actions Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and innovation
