Corporate Safety Director
in Salisbury, MA, leading safety strategy across major bridge, highway, transit, and marine projects throughout New England. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Corporate Safety Director position include: 10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil construction and 6+ years in a leadership or regional management role Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; CSP, CHST, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, New England state-specific requirements, and heavy civil operations including highway, bridge, marine, excavation, utilities, and multi-employer projects Lead, mentor, and grow a team of safety managers and field safety personnel across multiple job sites and states Develop and execute the company’s safety strategy, policies, standards, and initiatives in alignment with corporate goals and risk tolerance Oversee compliance, audits, inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans Partner with operations leadership, project managers, and superintendents to identify and mitigate jobsite hazards and support pre-construction safety planning Monitor and report safety performance metrics while leading companywide training, executive-level initiatives, and leadership engagement efforts
Salary : $240,000 - $320,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
