Job Title: Sr Director FP&A
Location / Work Structure: Wilkes-Barre, PA – On-Site (20–25% travel to company locations)

Client Overview: Vernovis is partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-location industrial services company experiencing significant growth. This organization is building out its finance function and offers a unique opportunity to join at the ground level, working directly with executive leadership and playing a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and future growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the FP&A function including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Build and maintain complex financial models (cash flow, long-term projections, scenario analysis)
- Develop KPIs and reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity stakeholders
- Analyze profitability, pricing, and cost structures across business units
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership to drive decision-making
- Support M&A activity including financial modeling, due diligence, and integration efforts
- Identify and implement process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation opportunities
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with experience working with large data sets
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and business performance metrics
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth or private equity-backed environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operations
- ERP system experience, including implementations or integrations
- Exposure to M&A, due diligence, or post-acquisition integration
