Content Marketing Specialist to design and implement high‑performance content strategies that boost lead generation, audience interaction, and sales. This position requires a mix of high‑level strategy and creative execution, managing the entire content workflow—from initial brainstorming and messaging, through drafting and distribution, to data‑driven refinement.
The ideal candidate is a talented writer and storyteller who can transform technical product features into persuasive narratives addressing specific customer pain points. You will collaborate with marketing leaders and cross‑departmental teams to produce assets that emphasize our competitive edge and support broader marketing goals.
Material will be produced for a diverse range of platforms—including our corporate site, retail partners, paid media, email, and video—with a prioritized focus on SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Search Generative Experience (SGE) compatibility.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
Work with leadership to build content roadmaps supporting new product rollouts, marketing campaigns, and growth targets.
Analyze market gaps and competitor weaknesses to craft unique product stories.
Propose creative concepts and narrative structures that communicate our brand's distinct value proposition.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to create content schedules tailored to specific buyer personas and their purchasing paths.
Creative Execution
Draft premium, results‑oriented copy for website and landing pages, e‑commerce product descriptions, digital ads, sponsored articles, email sequences, and YouTube metadata.
Build "problem‑to‑solution" narratives that pitch the product's benefits effectively.
Adapt brand messaging to suit various audience segments and stages of the sales funnel.
Maintain a unified brand identity, tone, and voice across every piece of content produced.
SEO & Performance Tuning
Produce assets optimized for traditional search engines, voice/AI answer engines, and generative search environments.
Perform keyword analysis and weave search‑based insights into the writing process.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including site traffic, user retention, and conversion rates.
Iteratively improve content based on data insights, evolving search trends, and campaign results.
Cross‑Functional Support
Coordinate with the broader marketing team to provide necessary assets for integrated campaigns and seasonal promotions.
Supply foundational messaging and creative collateral for use across diverse marketing touchpoints.
Demand Generation
Build content designed to educate, inspire, and move prospects toward a purchase.
Leverage helpful, search‑friendly storytelling to increase organic traffic and brand awareness.
Craft compelling calls‑to‑action that funnel users to the site and deepen their interaction with our solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, copywriting, or content strategy.
Proven track record in SEO writing and an understanding of the AEO/SGE/GEO landscape.
Background in drafting content for e‑commerce platforms or retail marketplaces.
Competency with marketing tech stacks and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics).
Prior experience assisting with product marketing or go‑to‑market strategies.
Excellent narrative skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into relatable customer benefits.
Can commute 5 days onsite to Atlanta, GA.
