Call Center Representative

Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Call Center Representative in East Syracuse, NY

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite - East Syracuse, NY 13057

Pay rate:

$19/hr - English Speaker

$20/hr - Spanish Speaker

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls
• Generate sales leads and identify customer needs
• Provide accurate product, warranty, and service information
• Connect customers with authorized dealers through warm transfers
• Assist dealers in locating distributors for parts and technical support
• Handle customer complaints, provide solutions, and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account updates
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies
• Meet individual and team performance metrics (call volume, quality, etc.)
• Support basic troubleshooting for Wi-Fi-enabled products (e.g., thermostats)
• Act as a switchboard, directing inquiries to appropriate departments

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of inbound call center experience
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Typing speed of 35–45 WPM
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
