As an Account Manager Sales Coordinator, you will be the backbone of Circle Logistics’ capacity strategy. In this role, you will start with a heavy focus on the carrier side of the business, identifying, qualifying, and negotiating with transportation partners to move critical freight. As you master our network and demonstrate a proven track record of success, you will transition into a full cradle-to-grave model, managing the entire lifecycle of both customer and carrier relationships.
You will be the owner of your own portfolio, bringing innovative solutions to prospective partners and nurturing these relationships into long-term partnerships. This job is fast-paced and high-energy—perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, handles high call volumes with ease, and loves competition.
Your Day to Day:
- Procure and secure new carrier partners based on volume and lane density to expand our network.
- Provide and negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers to ensure strong margins.
- Properly qualify all carriers booked to prevent service failures and maintain our "No Fail" policy.
- Manage daily shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring strict adherence to schedules.
- Generate new sales opportunities through research and discovery as you transition to a customer-facing role.
- Operate with autonomy, making independent decisions to manage your daily shipment portfolio.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to offer personalized, strategic solutions.
- Solve complex logistics problems and serve as the main point of contact for all account communications.
- Collaborate with management to review sales activities and pricing strategies for prospective partners.
What You Bring:
- Maturity and experience to effectively negotiate with both carriers and customers.
- High-energy mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume calling environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights or weekends as business needs dictate.
- Strong work ethic and the dependability to handle critical loads for high-priority accounts.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
