What you’ll build
As a Solution Sales Executive (SSE) (f/m/d), you build trust and manage strategic executive relationships with customers’ buying‑center CXOs to address their business challenges. This quota‑carrying resource drives demand for the line‑of‑business solutions using GTM strategy through direct customer engagements and accelerates deal velocity through transformative sales motions.
You bring deep industry domain and process expertise to provide a strong point of view (PoV), position value through solutions, translate end‑state vision with use cases and prototypes, and achieve cloud revenue growth through bookings, retention, and expansion. You also ensure ongoing success to realize sustainable customer lifetime value coupled with AI and innovation.
Responsibilities
Build trust and relationship with CXOs, ensuring a continued path to success through the Customer Value Journey.
Position value through solutions by understanding customers’ business challenges and bringing domain and process expertise to provide a strong PoV.
Drive demand and revenue via GTM strategy, focusing on demand generation, accelerating deal velocity, and growing the strategic footprint for BTP solutions.
What you bring
Account Management:
Expert‑level experience in customer relationship management, sales of software licenses and cloud subscription revenue; successful track record in driving solution adoption, creating and managing roadmaps, enabling value realization, and promoting sustained solution‑led expansion.
Functional Expertise:
Several years of sales experience in business software/IT solutions with a proven track record in business application software sales; demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy, multidimensional sales processes in a fast‑paced, consultative competitive market.
Soft Skills:
Strategic thinking with high creativity and innovation; ability to build long‑term, trust‑based relationships with stakeholders; thoughtful and results‑driven.
SAP Specific Knowledge:
Deep understanding of SAP BTP offerings and broad understanding of the SAP solution portfolio and the business processes they enable.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
