The Provider Engagement Representative is a critical position to the overall success of Arkos Health. Through telephonic, face‑to‑face, and written communication the Provider Engagement Representative establishes and strengthens productive relationships with the participating provider network.
Beyond relationship management, this role drives measurable performance improvement by supporting workflow integration, accountability, and value‑based care execution within assigned practices.
The Provider Engagement Representative must possess excellent relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and communication skills, along with a firm understanding of healthcare delivery systems and value‑based care models. To succeed in this role, this individual must be detail‑oriented, proactive and comfortable working with complex clinical environments. The Provider Engagement Representative will maintain a collaborative, advisory, and performance‑focused approach, even in a complex or challenging situation. This role partners with Arkos Health clinical and operational teams to coordinate practice‑level strategy, workflow execution, and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities Practice Activation & Performance Leadership
Strategic Responsibilities
Develop and leverage provider relationships to drive measurable performance improvement
Serve as a primary resource for information and problem‑solving between Arkos and the provider network by maintaining a regular schedule of physician office visits
Lead structured monthly performance review meetings with office managers focused on quality, RAF/HCC capture, utilization, and panel performance
Assess practice readiness and develop phased activation plans to move practices from engagement to performance ownership
Influence workflow redesign inside practices to embed value‑based care processes (pre‑visit prep, referral loops, documentation prompts, referral workflows)
Present clear, actionable performance insights to office managers and providers network to address concerns, answer questions, and apprise offices of quality care metrics
Align provider incentives, office manager incentives, and Arkos performance goals to drive shared accountability
Track KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly; proactively identify and remove barriers
Identify practices at risk of stagnation and implement corrective engagement strategies
Transition practices from Arkos‑led execution to provider‑owned performance over time
Provide real‑time support to the team, remove barriers that prevent practices from achieving targets
Investigate and resolve administrative issues and concerns between Arkos, provider network, and health plans
Travel to local provider offices and events. Role will require significant daily travel in personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided according to Arkos policy
Review dashboards (HEDIS, HCC/RAF data, utilization, SOCs, AWV performance) to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Use Excel and healthcare data tools to analyze provider and practice performance trends
Interpret plan, provider, and organizational performance data and convert insights into action
Translate performance data into specific workflow changes and operational action plans within practices
Present comparative performance data to drive urgency and behavior change
Plan and execute mass patient engagement events (AWV blitzes, quality campaigns, Arkos NP visits)
Manage event operations, including logistics, scheduling flow, and real‑time troubleshooting
Use event‑based activation as a catalyst to accelerate practice performance and embed sustainable workflows
Coordinate all onsite resources (NPs, RNs, SS, QC) to maximize throughput and value
Track outcomes and integrate event learnings into ongoing performance strategy
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all practice interactions
Ensure data entry complies with Arkos standards (CRM, Arkos360, EMR reporting)
Track scorecard metrics consistently across weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals
Qualifications
High school diploma or relevant equivalent experience
Prior experience with provider networks and contracting with physicians
Must be able to interact with healthcare professionals
Mastery of in‑office equipment (computers, printers, etc.) and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
Ability to analyze and interpret quality metrics, compliance indicators, and HCC/RAF documentation performance
Experience with healthcare reporting platforms, EMR analytics, or population health tools
Current unrestricted driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare Risk and Indemnity products preferred
