Assistant Buyer, Paid Social Media Crossmedia is hiring an Assistant Buyer, Paid Social Media to join our One Marketplace team. This role is a great fit for someone with a naturally curious mind, who is resourceful and loves numbers and wants a career in paid social media.

Please note this role requires a candidate have proximity to our NY office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home. Assistants are in the office an average of two - three days a week for training, collaboration, and overall learning.

The Assistant Buyer, Social Media should possess an eagerness to learn a new and rapidly evolving craft in the Digital Media space, specifically Social Media channels. The role is a great fit for someone who is resourceful, a curious problem-solver, enjoys working with numbers and data, is goal oriented, methodical, detail oriented and thrives when presented with new challenges.

This role will report to a Buyer and Supervisor and will support with the on‑going planning, execution, optimization and reporting for clients.

Responsibilities

Assist the team with identifying and managing paid social campaigns.

Daily media campaign management across several social platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit.

Strategize social media tactics, technology and make budget recommendations.

Utilize your analytical skills to interpret campaign performance and provide creative optimizations.

Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations.

Requirements

3+ months of hands‑on experience in execution & optimization of digital media campaigns with a focus on Paid Social is desired.

A strong interest in the advertising, media planning/buying industry, and paid media.

Analytical skills, both the ability to interpret overall social performance and paid campaign performance (within and beyond KPIs of social platforms).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Enjoy and understand working with data, numbers (especially via Microsoft Excel).

Entrepreneurial attitude: excited at the idea of building the agency with new tools, ideas and opportunities.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Salary range is $43,000 - $48,000, commensurate with experience, determined by the skills, qualifications, certifications, tenure in the industry and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
