Accounting Manager We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join Talos’ fast-growing, tech-focused Financial Operations team. This role will play a key part in supporting global accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. The position is hands‑on and suited to someone who views accounting as a strategic business partner, contributing to scalability, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration in a digital assets environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements

Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including ledger entries and reconciliations

Oversee Accounts Payable, including management of outsourced providers

Research and apply technical accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 350, ASC 718)

Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Collaborate with external advisors on tax, compliance, and technical accounting matters

Manage tax filings and corporate reporting in coordination with external firms

Coordinate audits across multiple jurisdictions and manage auditor relationships

Drive improvements in accounting processes, systems, and internal controls (including SOX/COSO where applicable)

Produce periodic and ad hoc financial reporting

Support treasury activities including cash flow forecasting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA required

4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting/PCAOB experience preferred

Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferred

Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP; IFRS a plus)

Experience with internal controls frameworks (COSO, SOX) preferred

High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills

Proactive, self‑directed, and able to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) preferred

Compensation Range: $140K – $160K
