
Customer Success Manager, International Public Sector

Overview
Dataminr is seeking a self‑motivated Customer Success Manager to champion detailed record‑keeping and scalable processes that enable client success in the German public sector and Defence markets. The role supports client engagements through training, usage assessment, and product demos to increase adoption, retention, and satisfaction of the Dataminr platform.
Responsibilities
Be an expert on Dataminr’s First Alert platform and develop a deep understanding of publicly available information and social media analytics use cases.
Understand each customer’s mission and operational process to design and implement programs that integrate First Alert into their workflows.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a thought partner.
Develop understanding of customer use cases, decision‑making nuances, and key information necessary to manage and grow accounts.
Conduct quarterly customer reviews to ensure service and product quality remain exemplary, identify growth opportunities, partner with cross‑company teams to drive adoption, find new use cases, and deliver value to customers daily.
Advocate for customers by collecting feedback, articulating product recommendations for product development, and presenting account health.
Qualifications
Experience working with or in the German public sector and Defence, with knowledge of publicly available information and social media analysis initiatives by public sector organisations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 5–8 years of client‑facing or product experience in the public sector vertical.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Detail‑oriented mindset with excellent project management skills; able to manage competing projects and deadlines with high accountability.
Tech‑savvy approach, capable of learning new software and CRM tools; SaaS experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willing to travel domestically and internationally up to ~35% and obtain required security clearance.
