As the company continues to grow and expand its market presence, our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance market positioning.
Position Overview The Sales & Marketing Manager is a senior leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. Reporting directly to the President, this role leads the sales, account management, and marketing functions.
This individual combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, strong commercial acumen, and cross‑functional collaboration. The Manager will lead long‑cycle, high‑value sales efforts while building and developing a high‑performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing Strategy Development Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic direction
Identify new target markets and business opportunities using data, technology, and research
Establish sales forecasts and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
Align go‑to‑market strategies with overall business objectives
Lead and manage sales, account management, and marketing teams
Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
Oversee pipeline development, opportunity management, and long sales cycle execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, and market activity
Oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
Analyze and report on marketing effectiveness and ROI
Strengthen brand positioning and market presence
Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align marketing with product and operational capabilities
Employee Development & Accountability Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales and marketing organization
Establish performance expectations and ensure accountability to results
Identify training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus
Performance Management Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
Conduct regular reviews to assess team and individual performance
Address performance challenges and implement improvement plans as needed
Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent
Operational & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Finance to develop and manage sales and marketing budgets
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and execution
Drive improvements in sales processes, forecasting accuracy, and reporting systems
Implement tools and systems to support scalable growth
Qualifications Industry Experience Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing leadership role within an engineered‑to‑order, OEM, or capital equipment environment
Demonstrated success managing long‑cycle, complex sales processes
Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams
Technical & Business Expertise Strong understanding of sales strategy, marketing strategy, and revenue growth planning
Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics
Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and sales tools
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Leadership & Mindset Strategic thinker with a strong execution focus
Results‑driven with a customer‑centric approach
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
High level of accountability and ownership
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
10+ years of relevant experience across sales, marketing, applications, project management, or engineering in an OEM environment
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing sales teams
