NEWS VIDEO EDITOR (P/T) - WCSC

Job Summary Live 5 News is looking for a part‑time video editor. Video editors are responsible for shooting and editing locally shot video as well as content from various external sources, including CBS and CNN. The editor attaches all videos to our early evening newscasts. This entry‑level position requires strong communication skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Attention to detail is an absolute necessity. Duties / Responsibilities Work closely with producers, reporters, and photographers to complete editing assignments. Qualifications / Requirements Prior experience with ENPS and Edius or other non‑linear editing systems is preferred. The ability to shoot video is helpful. A journalism degree is a plus, but current students are also welcome. Must be available in the afternoons and evenings, Monday‑Friday.
