Communications Coordinator Reports to: Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience Start Date: August 2026 Employment Type: Full time, non‑exempt, 12‑month in‑person staff position What You’ll Do Create dynamic mission‑aligned content for the school’s social media platforms, manage the content calendar, and use analytics to guide strategy. Serve as an in‑house photographer, capturing impactful moments that highlight academics, traditions and community, using photography and videography. Maintain the website, ensuring all content is accurate, timely and on‑brand. Support the Parents’ Association by managing a weekly newsletter and other communications needs. Design digital and print graphics to share important information and engage the community, and maintain the digital asset library. Assist with publication projects such as school magazines, from content planning and writing to photography coordination and vendor collaboration. Produce regular performance reports on content and use data to improve effectiveness and inform future goals. Who You Are Strong writer and editor with photography, videography and graphic design experience. Highly organized, proactive, capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and taking initiative. Collaborative team player who works well with students, faculty, parents, alumni, staff and outside vendors. Bachelor’s degree at minimum and at least two years of experience creating content and managing communications, preferably in a school or non‑profit setting. Tech‑savvy, comfortable learning new systems and platforms, proficient in digital design tools such as Canva, Finalsite and Adobe Acrobat. Excited to learn and grow. Essential Information Full‑time, non‑exempt position. Occasional evening, weekend hours and local travel may be required to photograph events.
