Pay Range:
$95K to $130K per year at commencement of employment
Role Description / Areas Of Responsibility
Handling, processing and reconciliation of time-sensitive, critical corporate action events
Daily communication with internal and external Nomura stakeholders to ensure event elections, expiration, and effective dates are understood and confirmation received
Working directly with custodians to ensure elections are received and are in good order
Managing relationships with various internal trading desks, finance, trade support, settlements, repo, and acting as point of escalation for issue resolution
Create, monitor, and test various metrics, reports, and procedures
Key Contribution Areas Critical To Success
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Understanding of how processes and procedures impact daily operations and the business and risk
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Skills, Experience, Qualifications And Knowledge Required
At least 5 years of work experience within financial asset services
Understanding of equity, fixed‑income, delta 1, swap and prime broker accounts
Experience in processing corporate actions, reorgs, dividends and PNI
Proficient in DTC and US market corporate action events
Firm understanding of securities lending, repo and settlement areas
Motivated, diligent learner able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Proficient in MS Office and ability to quickly learn internal and industry applications
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Series 99 preferred
Base pay may vary depending on factors such as location, title, duties, skills, experience; total compensation may include sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and a full range of benefits (401(k), paid time off, etc.)
