
Collections Specialist

Join the team as a Collections Specialist. In this role you'll work for a Financial Services company, working directly with customers to resolve delinquent accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Ideal candidates are strong communicators, experienced in collections or customer service, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Contact customers via telephone regarding delinquent accounts, determine reasons for delinquency, and obtain commitment to pay or negotiate payment in full or establish payment arrangements.
Update customer accounts in the computer system.
Follow established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedies.
Develop and manage repayment schedules with various alternatives, explaining consequences of delinquency to customers to secure payment.
Perform skip tracing and due diligence functions to ensure compliance with all Federal Regulations.
Adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and all applicable state and federal bankruptcy laws.
May involve field collection work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Midvale, UT.
Pay and Benefits The pay range is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
